Kenya Visa for Germans Citizens
Updated Entry Requirements for Germans Traveling to Kenya:
Amidst the ongoing pandemic, the government of Kenya has revised the travelling rules and entry/exit guidelines for travellers from around the world. Here are all the latest updates and rules for German travellers looking to acquire a Kenyan visa.
All German citizens must obtain a Travellers Health Surveillance form before entering Kenya. This is a new entry requirement introduced by the country because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Depending on the purpose of the visit, German travellers will need to apply Kenya eVisa from Germany before travelling to Kenya. For your information, Kenya e-Visa is issued for tourism, business, or medical treatment purposes.
German citizens can apply for an online visa or e-Visa through a simple, quick, and straightforward application process. The visa will allow them to stay in Kenya for a minimum duration of 30 days. However, the visa can be extended at least twice. This means they can stay in Kenya for up to 6 months.
Do German Passport Holders Require a Visa for Entering Kenya?
Yes, German passport holders must possess a valid visa to gain entry permission. Only a select few countries are exempt from this requirement. Citizens of countries who have a visa-waiver agreement with Kenya can enter the country without a visa. Germany isn't one of them.
The Kenyan government has simplified the visa obtaining process by making it entirely digital. It is now a fast-paced process where applicants can apply from the comfort of their homes. They need to fill out an application form to provide personal, passport, and travel-related data and submit the required documents.

Be extra careful when typing contact detail and email address since the visa will be delivered electronically to the email ID you provide in the form. Avoid typo errors at all costs, and refer to your passport's biography page when filling out personal and passport-related data.
